Default heres a alternate to the S2000 antenna...

i just did this today. its a roof mount antenna, but it fits perfectly in the place of the power antenna. i bought it on ebay from some online site called LO CUSTOMS (www.locustom.com). the antenna is called "shark attack II" (i am no way afiliated with LO CUSTOMS, but thought id mention where i bought it so i can help other HT users out) Mike, the owner was great help, and if u guys want an easy alternate from the s2000 antenna and all the trouble of getting the mounting hardware for it, i highly recommned this. its as simple as plug and go. the reception on this is the same as the stock antenna from what i noticed, but i live in the SF bay area, so its a large metropolitian area..

also, if u feed this needs to be moved to the appearance forum, go for it, but i feel this is toward integra users only.. =)

just realized they charge more on the site than on ebay... heres the ebay link if anyone wants it..

one more thing i forgot to mention, the antenna comes with a 2 wire installation, but i only used the antenna wire.. i think the 2nd wire was the power wire for the built in amp..

i duno.. people usually say email ______(enter name there)

one reason i went for this antenna is because it saves me the trouble, and i always hear that the s2000 antenna kit has a bad reception...

dealer plug = very sturdy.. i had to go get a fender washer from home depot.. but this thing is METAL. from all the pics i thought it would be plastic, but you really get what you pay for. it may have been really expensive, but the quality is excellent
the plug was $27 special ordered... apparently the $15 is from a hookup at the acura dealership.
