Default White smoke after VTEC??

I did a search and couldn't find anything to help me. I was driving my 98 GSR last night, and a friend of mine told me I had some white smoke coming out of the exhaust after VTEC had kicked in. I was wondering what the cause of this is and what I can do to fix it.

rich = black smoke, not white

Check your coolant levels. Also, I doubt this happened but check your head gasket and see if it's still intact.

My friend said it was white, but it was dark so it could have been blue. What can I do to fix this??

You might have too much oil in it. And its burning off. Check when its cold.

it could have just been vapor.. which is normal. hard to tell with that description. just pay attention to oil and coolant levels, if all checks out and nothing goes down, you're probably ok.
