Default Removing air bags

Hello I was changing out my interior to black, and I was wondering how hard itis to remove the driver's side and the passenger side air bags? And how?

From what I understand, it's pretty difficult - not because of the installation/uninstallation, but because if you're in an accident they might not deploy correctly, and if your insurance somehow finds out you messed with them they won't cover you in an accident. The legal issues are pretty nasty there. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the actual job of taking them out - I'll leave that for other souls braver than myself. Good luck, though... post pics when it's done!

I would consult my Helms manual and tell you how to do it, but there were no airbags in '92.
