Hi,
Its not a Type R but has a 2000 JDM Type R engine. I'm selling it and thought I would post it here. I live in northern CA. Please let me know if you are interested.

That's no kind of Type R engine I know of. The battery is too big and in the lower left-hand side instead of the upper. The ABS unit is absent and should be where the intake pipe is. The radiator reservoir is in the right side of the engine and on the R it's on the left side.
Do you have to relocate a lot of stuff to swap into a first-gen Teg? Because otherwise that's no R engine.

Kabab, the engine is simply the Type R block I received in crate straight from Japan. The original 1.7 Vtec engine was blown so I bought the R and paid someone to drop it in there. The battery, ABS, reservoir is all where it should be for a 92 GSR. The only difference is the Type R engine block. Yeah, more could be gotten out of this engine if it had the Type R intake manifold but this car is fast as is. Thanks for the posts, I sold the car.
