Default JDM wheels

Is 40mm the standard offset for JDM wheels or is there no standard offset, hence the offset being at 0. What is the offset for stock wheels (if any)? Thanks a lot.

no such thing as a "standard" offset...you simply get the offset that will work with the car. i think stock is at +45 or near that

You have to choose the offset based on wheel width and tire width that will give you the best clearance between both the outer fender lip and the suspension parts behind the wheel.
