Front strut tower bar
#2
If you don't have a bar on now, ie OEM GSR bar, then I would suggest you get one.
I had a stock GS suspension (except I changed the tires to 205/50/15 Dunlop SP5000's), and I didn't have any bar on before. After I installed the Neuspeed bar, I noticed a difference in steering response...it felt sharper and the front end felt more controlled. Overall, I would buy the bar again if I had the choice.
I paid about $96 for the bar shipped.
Here is the pic of my car with the polished Neuspeed bar...

ahh yes...a front strut bar is quite nice - DON'T GET DC SPORTS! They're bars are for more looks than performance, all those holes sacrifice the rigidity of the bar therefore making it flex A LOT more.
here's my neuspeed bar...

hey styleteg...have we met before? heh heh...
also! rear strut bars are very nice too. you wont notice as much a difference but its there as w/ the rear lower tie bar. on the rear strut & tie-bar don't go cheap...they will just break and the cheap lower tie-bar may damage the weak subframe.
rear strut bar (ebay purchase...i'll be getting a neuspeed one soon):
rear tie-bar (ebay purchase...$40 on this one - great deal!)[Picture brightend and gamma enhanced so you can see it better]:

I have the same generic ebay rear strut brace! hehe, I am also going to replace it with a neuspeed (love the front one so much, why go anywhere else?)

I was thinking about the comptech bar but i was also wondering if there is any drilling required for the neuspeed bar? Ive noticed they have that bar and one that looks like the regular one (gsr or type r) any difference besides mounting points?

Edelbrock makes a bar that triangulates the strut towers to the firewall. I don't know whether it'd work with some aftermarket manifolds (I had to turn my OEM brace around backwards to clear my Bov) and I think SCCA looks down on it. It'll REALLY tighten your front end up though.
