i knew i had a good amount already, but i didn't realize how many i've acquired since i last payed attention. i washed the teg this weekend, nice and clean. this morning, as i was walking to the car, there was no dirt, sand, nor salt to hide any blemishes, and i noticed how many more i now have..

why the fuck can't people be considerate to other peoples' properties and learn to open their fuckin' door?? :madfawk:

those bastads should be shot. You must watch out for the seniors and older women. Dont park next to buicks, vans, or suvs.

 

its because people are assholes. Some people don't care about their cars cause they have pieces of ****. Other people are rich as hell and don't care cause they get a new car every two years.

 

I park WAY far away from everything, never next to anyone. When I'm at the mall, I come back out to a bunch of imports near me. I guess they think we're safer if we park near each other, because we all pay attention.

I had 3 or 4 dings on my LS and they drove me crazy.

 

yep, that's what i try to do.. i find myself parking next to imports or them near me.. and far from SUVs and other idiot-mobiles. however, sometimes i have no choice..

and i CAN'T STAND when i leave plenty of room for other people in their spots, yet they somehow manage to park as close to me as fuckin' possible..

 

Go to a PDR shop and get the dings fixed. PDR (paintless dent removal) is generally pretty cheap and its very quick.

 

**** i hate when people don't respect others stuff. This **** happened to me before. Some asshole when i beat him in a race, dented my door during the night when i was sleeping.

 

eh.. i've done PDR on the passenger-side quarter panel already.. nice job.. but it doesn't keep the dings from coming back..

i'd like to have both doors and rear panels refinished completely (get some dents out too).. but i don't know if it's worth the $$$.

 

It's just a matter of if you can live with the dings or not. I was about to drop some money to get my LS driver door redone, there were three of them real close.

I can't stand living with things like that, I'd invest in fixing them. Makes the car as a whole look much better to me, maybe even someone else.

 

quick fix for door dings. remove the door panel completely so the inside metal of the door is exposed, take a campbells soup can, wrap it in a towel, and go over the door dings from the inside of the door. Kind of like a zambonie machine.
