Default Fawkin THIEVES !!!!!!

I just bought a 95 GS-R 4 days ago. This morning, I got into my car to go to work, and I noticed a $%#@ saw hanging from my steering wheel !!! My steering wheel was also cut all the way through near the top, suggesting that the f*ggots were trying to cut the wheel off to get the club off of the steering wheel ( It seems like they didnt have time to get the saw out of the steering wheel, and got spooked off, so they left it there. I can't believe this....you try to get something nice, and some punks try to take it from you....may the poor f*cks rot in hell......well everything was still as I left it inside of the car, but I also noticed that the hood was popped, and there was some oil or something on the ground right under the engine area ( I'm not sure if it was from my car, or from another car that parked there before me, but it seemed pretty fresh.) Now when I start my car , the ABS light, and SRS light stay lit for about 8 seconds, and then turn off. Does this mean that there is something wrong with this systems ? Or is there only something wrong if the lights STAY on ?

Also, just for my own piece of mind, can you guys help me piece together a scenario of what happened while the bastard was trying to take the car, why the hood was popped ?

Maybe they were looking for aftermarket parts? Something they could take off easy(CAI comes to mind). Did you check all your fluid levels? That may be why the lights are coming on. Maybe they might have broken something?

Oh yeah :madfawk: theives

8 seconds sounds reasonable - chances are you're just noticing how long it stays on now. Check your manual to see what it says about the ABS and how long the light stays on. If the thing starts blinking or doesn't shut off, then there is a problem. In the mean time, have it checked out for piece of mind - it's probably ok, but the test shouldn't be that expensive and your insurance might cover it since it is a safety feature.

About the steering wheel that was sawed down the middle......how much would it be to get I new one ( without the airbag, cause I can just move the air bag module from the damaged steering wheel to the new one right) ?

Well I took the car to a mechanic, and he pieced together a likely scenario.......The f*ggot used an air pump to open the door ( hence no door damage), and tried to jump start the car by opening the hood, and spraying gas into the intake ( hence the popped hood, liquid on the floor, and removed intake tube from the airbox). However they were trying to start the car, it didn't work. The only thing that gets me , is if he wasn't able to get the club off of the steering wheel, why would he be trying to start the car anyway ?..Damn .......They tried to rape my baby, but she wouldn't start for them.....I'm glad she's all in one piece...........

I think Tri dawg had a good idea, but Im sure they won't be back for a while.......

Sorry to hear that happened. Some people just don't respect what others have. As for the fluids i would suggest checking them to make sure everything is all good.
