tps sensor

The car will run without a TPS. You can replace just the TPS for under $50. Google or eBay "Omni Power TPS." You can make slots in the scews that are on the original TB and use a screwdriver to remove the old one. The new one, from Omni Power, will come with replacement screws. You just need to calibrate it. You can find out the steps by googling as well.
As an alternative, you can find another Honda TPS from a junkyard TB as well if that is easier.

you can drive with it unplugged.
your car will run in LIMP MODE also called back up mode, FMEM just enough to get you home or bring your car to a shop and not in a tow truck.
basically, the pcm uses another sensor to get info from. in your case, if the tps is out, the pcm uses the map sensors input. its not gonna be accurate thats why your car runs like S+it.
cel will come on off course
