I've found the answer. I had thought about it previously but forgotten about it. Cams and Intake Manifold (Skunk2). It should run about 900 bucks (plus cam gears for another 200 which should add a bit more). Anyone have any knowledge about this...and if camshafts will really benefit me greatly with a non-vtec B18?

any camshaft worth getting is going to require the use of aftermarket valvesprings and retainers, another ~$350 plus install.

So no one has any opinions on a Skunk2 cam set-up? For the time being, let's say forget about nitrous...are cams/intake/intake manifold a better combo for the money than I/H/E? And this is for a NON-vtec teg by the way.

those a BASIC upgrades dude.....I think almost everyone has a CAI & Exhaust, so you want to run NOS and not even have those inexensive things

So basically you want to run Nitrous on a "STOCK" car?

3rd....AEM Lightweight T-6061 Pulleys aren't a waste of money! thats for damn sure, I had them on my old 94 300ZX..and they work just as well on tegs.

but hey, do what you want, go buy a cheap a$$ $500 Nitrous System, run it on you "STOCK" teg, then be sure to post you problems when your car becomes all ****ked...k.

Let the people who run nitrous and have experience with it handle the nitrous questions. Yes it can be run on a stock motor, and it won't get ****ed. You are a tool.

As for the cams/skunkmanifold, it's gonna cost you a lot. I/H/E for a decent combo will be around $1000. Cams will be around $400, springs and retainers around $350, and a skunk manifold a couple hundred. Crower 402 cams are a waste, 403's are decent, 404's make the most power but have a lopey idle. Cam gears $180, Chipped ecu to extend your redline for those cams, and a little dyno tuning which is usually $60-80 per hour. Won't be close to a teg on a 75 shot.
