Finally got a car...
Hey everyone. Haven't posted in a very long time. I finally got a car tho. It's a '90 Teg GS. (I'll try and post a pic if I can get my friends camera). Its real clean tho, red paint looks good...anyways, the first little things I wanted to get done once I have a little more money is intake, short shifter (the stick is just too long), wheels, and maybe swapping the seats out for newer gsr seats. I'd just get a cheapo CAI and put a K&N filter on, I mean "a pipe is a pipe". For the shifter I could just get a cheapo one off ebay for 18 bucks. So all that is only like 70-80 dollars...as for the wheels I was thinking about newer gsr wheels off ebay. Their usually alot cheaper than aftermarket ones, plus I think they'd look real clean on the car. As for the seats, the ones now are kinda ratty cuz the drivers side is patched up and the color looks like that carpet with a million different colors in it
At first I wanted black leather from the 2000 gsr's but it wouldnt go right with the bluish interior. So now I think I want the black cloth ones with he bluish inserts from the mid-90's gsr's. I think that would look pretty tight.
Anyways, what do you guys think about OEM wheels and seats?
Or anything else I should first get for the car?
(Oh yeah and about the exhaust...it's like one of those weird ones like on the old crx's...can I put an aftermarket exhaust on to replace that junk??)

on the muffler question you can get a monza pace setter but it sounds very very raspy so i wouldnt suggest but i think you can get a universal and weld it on at a muffler shop. Just make sure the car is in good shape likemechanical wise and then you can start of other things. OEM is a very good upgrade i think. It is not to very expensive and it looks very nice on the g2's. Remember to use the turque out the b18a to your advantage.

Thanks guys. About the seats, I don't want leather or racing (too damn expensive), I was looking more at mid 90's gsr black/blue insert cloth seats. They have a nice junkyard/used parts place in Hagerstown (I've heard) so I might go there and see what they've got. About the exhaust, I think because of the way its built with the muffler's "cylinder" or box parallel to the bumper I would need an entire exhaust to replace it...I'm not big on exhausts though...
Also, does anyone know if I get seats from a newer integra (94-01) I know the front seats will fit, but with the different body style of the 90-93's would the rear seats fit?

i saw this g2 at the track once that had a muffler coming out of the back that looked like a fireball and it was slanted at an angle so i am guessing that he just got it welded on after running the piping. what he got them to do is run the exhaust pipe through the area where the hangers are so that they are still supported. There wont be anything that just bolts up i dont think unless you of coarse want to get that raspy monza pace setter. good luck with it.
