Got Jacked..so Cal..help!

A friend of one of my coworkers got his car stolen right off of Cal State LA's campus, right behind work. What sucks about his story is that it was his first day he got his car back after 3 months of being in the shop. He had a newly built GSR motor in his 92-95 hatch, complete with apex n1 suspension, and a slew of other new parts. They found his car 4 hours later, devoid of any parts worth keeping. He's hella bummed, since he's on liability insurance too. O yeah, they stole it despite he had an alarm, autolock and Club all properly applied.

I go all over so cal area... so i'll keep a look out for it. I'm around riverside,downey,glendale,pasadena, LA. Hope you find the bastards. They should die a slow agonizing death for their crimes!

u guys arent gonna believe this but...yesterday some guy calls me from the g2ic board. i've only met him once and he said that he didnt even see my post until friday. BUT ON WED NIGHT, he says he was leaving eagle rock and headed up the 210 when all of a sudden...MY CAR COMES SWOOPIN on him.. he described it 2 the tee, and having not know that my rims where dark grey, it had 2 have been mine.... the thread is in the general discussion forum of g2ic if u guys wanna check it out..... damn i guess my car is still winning races..

we're thinking the shop that did his motor copied his keys while it was getting the motor dropped in....because the clutch pedal shows no evidence of the autolock being pryed off, and all windows were intact, without any bending out or large finger prints (they were still dirty, as they were before the theft), and the steering wheel was not cut.
never leave your keys unattended....

BAM,
I'm having the same problem with the LAPD. Who does the LAPD think they are fooling with this 12 weeks BS? .... OK I didn't come here to express my disgust with the LAPD.... Did you figure out a way to get a copy of your police report without having to wait 12 weeks? My insurance company won't do anything without the report! I really don't want to be without a ride for 3 to 4 months!
