Gotta do a P72 head and ECU for a TRUE GSR. Mounts will work.

you'll have to wire up the vtec solenoid and intake manifold butterflies (if its non-ITR).

jdm B18C's with serials that start with 19, 20, 21, and 22 are ITR blocks.
there is no suffix after the "C" in B18C unless its a US motor or a factory rebuild block.

Also forgot the oil squirters in the block. These shoot oil onto the bottom of the pistons for cooling.

The reason for the ECU is for the vacuum control valve control for the secondary runners in the plenum.

Gotcha. BUT you can also put the P72 on any B block. I wonder if you can also implement the squirters into a B20 for a BIG hybrid?

You can use any ECU. If it's not a VTEC ECU, you'll have to get it converted to a VTEC unit, and have it chipped with a stock map, or even a tune.

The mounts are the same. Use stock GS-R mounts or even aftermarket like Avid, Hasport, etc.

The LS and B20 are the same engine, just different slized sleeves, so yes, you can use the squirters.

Don't you have to drill/tap the block for it? Otherwise wouldn't there be a drastic oil pressure drop? I thought the LS was an interior options package upgrade, didn't think it applied to powertrain. I COULD BE WRONG!

Using the B18a/b with a VTEC head is the same thing as using a B20b/z with a VTEC head.

I meant LS meaning a B18a1 or B18b1. Since all Integras came with those engines besides the Hype R and GS-R
