This thread has gotten so far away from the original poster's question, you'd need to take a taxi to get anywhere close.
I'm never one to piss on other people's fireworks... but please, try to keep things on-topic here...

An LS/VTEC isn't my favorite.. It's a hybrid motor, so it's not going to last a long time. They're almost always going to burn and leak oil along with some other things.
are u serious but it would mess up only if you dont do it correctly? if its done right then whats the prob?? everyone does it?? i even heard u get more pull because ls has a diffrent crank?

The LS has a slightly bigger stroke. The GSR has a stroke of 87.2mm and the LS has a stroke of 89mm, so yes an LS-VTEC can have a little more power, but it's nominal.

An LS-VTEC will run fine, but it's not going to last forever like a factory-equipped VTEC motor. They're known to burn and leak oil. By the time you put the money into a LS-V built, you could have probably found a GSR motor. The LS internals aren't very well balance, they're not built for the high RPM's, etc.

Why did you feel the need to post 3 times?

It doesn't matter if you change the internals. The block itself was never meant to have a VTEC head on it.
