Default 98 gsr?

Whatz up peoples? Chillen. It's been a minute since I asked about my GSR. Never had the time/$$ to get fixed. I remember you guys saying it might be my ignition coil in the dizzy.
Can I go to Napa,Carquest,Autozone or I better stay oem & dish out the money.

Thanks

The coil is about $60 to $100 depending on where you get it and what brand.

The $60 Beck/Arnley isn't a bad choice.. same one in my GSR.

pslsnakes, so you say Beck/Arnley is a good item. How long you had yours. so where did you get yours from. Just need to get the GSR back on road. Miss driving it.

I didn't have a bunch of cash so I got the cheapest one Advance Auto had.

Had it for a few months and it's been fine. The coil is the weakest link in our cars. They go out, and you replace them.

I also purchased a Beck/Arnley coil from Advance auto a couple years ago (for my civic). I had no problems with it, but it's not of the same quality as oem and for the small difference in price (and since it's such an important part) you might as well go oem.

If you're real short on cash Partsgeek.com has some for very cheap, but not oem. Autopartsgiant might also have some for cheap.

Acuraautomotiveparts.org has the oem part for a good price, not sure about shipping.

I'm sure there's other places with similar or better prices if you look around or maybe even if you have a nice dealership nearby you can get a decent price on one there.
