Default bored out ls question

well, i sent out the block to get cleaned and resurfaced, but the machinist said that it had to be bored. i don't know how much it needed to bored out, due to the imperfections they've discovered- i wasn't briefed on that, but surely i will tomorrow. my question pertains to the stock diameter of the ls cylinder walls- which i believe to be 81mm and its overbore. how many millimeters can my block be bored out to without having it being resleeved? i know that the process of resleeving can get quite expensive, so im curious to know my block's limitations. any help is much appreciated.
