Who has a high mileage integra?/Longevity
#62
My 88 LS had 365k miles when I sold it. It was at 340k when I bought it for $500. Only things I replaced were a clutch, radiator hoses, brakes and a valve cover gasket. Car ran great. I've got 140,000 miles on my 96 Accord, still running strong... no major repairs to date. I'm averaging close to 50k miles per year, mostly on the freeway... so this car should definitely last quite a while.
My Trans Am just hit 52,000 miles and so far, no major problems (knock on wood) My 95 had somewhere around 180,000 miles when I traded it in for the 01. Replaced the typical GM stuff (starter, alternator, etc.) but the LT1 opti-spark started giving me fits so I dumped it. Fortunately, the LS1

[QUOTE=MartyMarGSR]hondas are known for being reliable to 200k.
ever hear of any american car running that long? no way.
How about my 70 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme with over 400,000 on stock 455 Olds engine? American enough for you? And my dad bought it new so the miles are accurate. And oh yeah my 92 Integra has 200,000 on it, runs good most of the time.

My dad drove a 1972 Chevrolet Kingsman station wagon (it was a tank) when I was a kid. I'm not sure what engine it had (likely a 305 or 350 V8) but it ran well past 200k miles and he kept it for a long time. I was in high school when he finally sold it. We took it on quite a few road trips back in the day.
