What I have noticed about most cops is that they leave most drivers alone under 75 MPH as long as they are driving with the flow of traffic. It is not the speed that causes the accidents, it is the fact that the majority of Americans cannot drive to save their lives and do stupid, crazy things. I am more cautious of the guy doing 60 weaving in and out of traffic than someone doing 90 on an open highway. I know that there are a decent amount of Americans that can drive well, but driver training here is a joke, too many people have a hard enough time driving a car let alone doing it while eating, drinking, talking on the cell phone, shaving, putting on makeup, etc. My point is that cops tend to nail drivers that are driving wrecklessly in their own eyes as opposed to those that are moving along nicely. All of this has been taken by my own observations driving throughout New England.

I think its just that cops like to **** with us Acura owners. They are jealous because they can't have such beautiful cars to drive.

yep, exactly the type of attitude that will get your @$$ busted. I've been pulled over twice in the past year since I bought my GS-R, and I knew I was doing wrong, and was very polite and courteous (one time was doing ~40 in a 20 on my school campus, right before an interstate on-ramp). Got off the hook both times.

If I was in your senario, I'd use the law to your advantage. Take it to court.

I am in greenville, SC... where the speedlimit was 70+ and got dropped down to between 55 and 65 because to many people were dumb

the one thing that I don't get is I only accelerated 5 - 10 mph faster then the flow of traffic, in the last 3 months the only time I have seen someone obey the 50 mph speedlimit there it was bumper to bumper (high volume) and no one could go any faster.
