yeah my clover pearl green is a pain to keep clean also but it shines so great when it is washed and clearcoated, the blue shines through the green almost like a purple black, so sick, gotta love oem colors. haha good choice on the muffler, when i first saw the thread start, i thought to myself about how loud that thing was, i want to replace my exhaust but havnt decided what to do yet, def wont be a fart can though, going for a clean sound, not a ricer sound.

yep. underwhelming power characteristics for the money spent. however, it works well for the "set it and forget it" type of honda owner (aka the older crowd who doesnt want to tinker with their cars).

i'd rock one on my LS, but too bad it only adds like 25whp. for the 2 grand entry price, i'd gladly go turbo instead.

if i had a gsr, going s/c might still be an option, but in the end, i just dont like how they sound. hahaha

I have a good reliable source.. My friend is now the one and only authorized tuner for eCtune in the whole state of Florida.

I don't want or need a whole lot of power.. just a quick DD.. if I can do 13's I'll be happy. I'll have a strictly track slut for a race car.

doubt with the power u will make with that JSRC.. Get a greedy turbo kit.. much much more reliable and u don't have to mess with it.. but u have room to grow (also pushes a lot more power then JRSC).. u will be much happier..SUperchargers just don't work well on our cars Period.. and for the power which is not very much u can get a nice reliable turbo set up that can always be expanded and not to mention have great power! JRSC is just a Hunk of shit.. friends don't let friends just put any hunk of shit on there car..

I beg to differ, the JRSC is a nice piece of gear. It will do 13's with a good setup and a decent driver. The GSR is a high 14's to begin with.

Hmmm.. 13's is very doable with the JRSC. I already run mid to low 14's consistently. My last run was 14.39.

I've seen/read JRSC setups put down about 210-220 with just a piggy back system for tuning. Like I said, my good friend is a great tuner, I believe I can do at least 250whp with one of his one-on-one street and dyno tunes. After all.. I have 170whp with just I/H/E.

I don't want a turbo because of the maintenance it involves. Even the GReddy kits.. and those are still pretty limiting. I don't want to have to worry about oil lines, vacuum lines scattered along, blowing the turbo, or any of that. The JRSC is the best option for me because, 1, I don't need a whole shit load of power, and 2, I'm lazy.. I don't want to have to worry about the constant little shit that always fails.

i see ur point of view, but little stuff will still fail with the SC in there. just like a turbo setup, an s/c will add a lot of head underhood. heat = aging rubber/vacuum lines/plastics/wiring. you're going to be running gauges and vacuum lines still, so thats not turbo dependent. if anything, the heat is worse from s/c setups since theres no intercooling without crazy custom work, and the heatsoak is terrible.

wait i forgot, will u be getting a vortech or jackson? if its the vortech i'm all for it. those kits are better in many ways than the roots type s/c.

The JRSC is the roots design.

i agree with spec r, the extra heat induced from the supercharger is just as hard if not harder on the car, not to mention how confined the engine bay is in an integra, that heat is going to rise greatly. when you boost a car, minor replacement of wires and hoses are inevitable, it is going to happen, but reliability is key, and who says you have to shift so high, you are only going to go crazy with the turbo when you reach higher lvl rpms, so as a DD, i assume you are shifting around 2.6-4k rpm, i shift at 2.5k driving in town and on the highway. just an opinion. plus 98+ tegs look sick with an intercooler sittin in there, but the super charger gives that sleeper look. either way you know what you are doing, but if i wanted a bit of power, id just turbo
