I wish, the sigh of relief can't come soon enough. I've spent much more time than I anticipated getting this far, not to mention what it took to strip the red car. :hs:

Haven't updated this in a while, its too damn cold to work on the car. I started a new job doing roofing & aluminum siding which has consumed all of my time over the past several weeks.

I got a BNIB set of OEM headlights, tail lights, a rear bumper, and some misc. trim pieces to install. Decided to stay with the USDM front. I still need wheels and an OBD2-OBD1 conversion harness before I can start it. Then shortly after i'll be taking the car to my buddy's shop for paint so i'll get some new pictures while the bodywork is in progress.

Not gonna happen, I'm hoping to have this thing complete by spring.

2001TEGGSR Teg looks tight. Few question? On the blue TEG you picked up. You sure that's not a GSR Super Sonic Blue because I have a Super Sonic GSR myself or did someone paint it. If not what blue is it called. Just curious why you didn't go with the Blue valve cover or jsut being different.
For ext. Go with the wing from your GSR or get another 1. So you doing the JDM ITR side markers. It's coming along.

Post more as you go

As far as I know the car is Super Sonic Blue Pearl, I think the paint code is B90P? That is the color on the title, as well as the code on the door jambs. I do believe it has been painted at least once in it's life though, so the shade may be off a bit.

I'm sticking with SSBP, i've always loved tegs in that color.

As for the valve cover, I used that metal cast paint you see at Auto Zone, and it doesn't hold up very well on engine parts. It fades within a few months, and I was just tired of the blue. I figured red would look good. If this one chips, i'm buying a new OEM red valve covera and leaving it alone.

No on the sidemarkers. I'm probably going wingless, although I do really like the ITR wing with the OEM optional sides/rears.
