Default Do GSR's suck in the snow?

Do GSR's suck in the snow? I drove mine in the snow and t was the worst car I have ever driven in th snow. I was barely able to make it up hills and was sliding all over the place. Yes I know how to drive in the snow. I have the stock michelins on it with 16,500 miles on them. Would other all season tires make a difference or is it still gonna suck in the snow? If so I am gonna sell it and get a WRX. I have roads that are all hills to get to work and if I can't drive on them I'm screwed and need a new car.

Basically, the stock Michelins suck.

And just in case I forgot to tell you before, the stock Michelins suck.

just in case youre wondering...i HIGHLY doubt that LS's are any better in the snow h:

what you need to do is scrap those crap stock michelins xgtv's or whatever the heck they are and get some good tires. itll cost less than a new WRX too

will other all seasons improve the traction much or will the car still suck in the snow?

Yes they will; no it won't.

I've had better results in the snow on summer tires than with the stock Michelins.

Buddy of mine is driving his s2000 to work and back...in the snow. Talk about near death experiences...

The real question is how much a Limited slip will improve snow traction

you should do what most other people do when it snows in their city, buy snow tires and slap them on some steelies for the winter. that way you dont drive on those crappy michelins in the snow and you're nice GSR wheels will be safe for the winter. i think that alternative is cheaper than a WRX.

I just have some basic cooper cobra tires for the winter and they work great. I have a GSR and I live in michigan. I never had the stock tires but I am guessing eveyone hates them.
