my gsr does fine with dunlop sp5000's. the car can slide if im not careful, but its not that much of a problem.

I actually havent hade any problems with my stock Michellins (spelling?) Anyways...im rolling on my Toyos with the 17s right now anyways....too lazy to switch wheels.

yea um, my bicycle tires get more traction than the michlens i have on my car. no let me refraise that, you would get more grip with paper towels than the michlens,

I have an integra and it usually did great, now that i lowered it, I dont move. TOO LOW. Get the snow tires, don't lower it if you want to move. By the way, the WRX is hot. If i had the money I'd buy a WRX STi. That car is like woah. I'd keep the integra too.

I went with a -1 setup for the winter (91 GS rims with some off-brand snows) and they do alright.

PS: don't lower the car if you want to go anywhere...my 2" drop gets me stuck everywhere.

two days ago I would have said yes... I couldn't move in the snow. But I just put some snow tires on and it absolutely rocks, feels like I'm driving on (bumpy) bare pavement :wiggle:
