9:1 should be low enough and learn to spell ls/vtec or you're gonna get flamed.

just use your stock B18B pistons.

B18B pistons in an LSVETC with a B16/B17/B18C5 (PR3) head will yield a 9.55:1 CR, with a B18C1 (P72) head 9.73:1.

Figures plugged in from here: http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/c.../compcalc.html

With a PR3 head I would reccomend pistons with a dome displacement of around -5.0 cc, with a P72 head around -6.0 cc. In either case that will put you around 9.25:1 CR which should be reasonable for moderate-to-high boost levels assuming proper fueling.

You say "under 20" pounds of boost--on a stock Honda block you don't want to go past about 12 psi without installing new sleeves. Golden Eagle, Darton and others sell higher strength sleeves to be installed in place of the stock ones.

But, since you didn't bother to spell VTEC right (you said v-tech, i.e. the maker of cordless phones) I'm a bit skeptical.
