Default No Heat?!!?

95 Teg LS..

Why is there no heat? What should I look for..? The fuses appear to be good...the a/c works fine but when you put it on heat..it just blows cold air..

any help is appreciated.

Check your coolant level. In my experience, without antifreeze, you won't get heat.

Maybe your heater core died.

I've got no idea at all. I just know that my friend's Bronco had a bad heater core and he had no heat.

I dunno how much it costs but it's buried in behind the climate control so basically it would take a while to get to it.

what does your engine temp read at? if it stays cold, your thermostat is probably stuck open. otherwise, as already stated, it could be low coolant or dead heater core..

My guess is the heater core. I'm 99% sure that's the problem. They aren't very expensive to replace, doing it yourself is cheaper but a little pain in the butt.

Also, there's a hot/cold air adjuster underneath the passenger side of the dashboard, might want to check things out underneath there.

you should check the hose going into the firewall if its hot. IF its not than either your thermostat is stuck closed. If they are hot than it might be your heater core. The heater core on the 94 teg and up is under the glove compartment.
