Default 3 grand

Aight, I'm gonna need some opinions on what I should do. Okay, I'm getting 3 grand by march of 2003. So what should I do for performance with that money. I can get a b20 head for $200 bucks so I could make a ls/vtec on the teg. Would that 3 grand be enough to make the ls/vtec reliable for every day driving and lots of power or should i get a h22 or even a turbo. I'm really lookin at getting the b20 head and just building the motor with the rest of the money i've got left over to make it last. Any opinions would be welcomed. Thanks

Dude, the B20 has the same basic head as the B18B. It's not VTEC. People make B20VTEC motors essentially the same way they make LSVTEC motors--they put a VTEC head from a B16A or B18C on a non-VTEC block.

oops, okay, sorry I guess it's not vtec, so then what if I got a vtec head from a b16 or just from a gsr? So does the crv not come with vtec?

no it does not
hence b20-vtec or crvtec as its called
do some homework on it though
you need to do some stuff to it to make it work well

Yes you need to do some homework...and half of the guys who have trouble with the swap don't make it to these boards to document it. With $3,000 I'd say save up a little more and go turbo...although that's still a stretch.

For our integs though, 3 grand is best spent on suspension...you want some suggestions on that instead?
