Ok guys this is the deal... I have owned a 90 300zx 5spds,94 integ 5spd, and now i drive a 93 accord 5spd. I am going to buy another car but im getting sick of shifting gears and problems with honda 5spds.. my question is: is getting a auto teg worthless and kind of ruin the car? the way i see it is that the teg is not a true sports car so should it matter? any ideas?

 

If you just want to cruise around town or whatever, I don't see a problem with it. If you want to make it fast I would suggest other options.

 

if you're gonna get an automatic, i say go for a 6 cylinder. four banger automatics are pretty sluggish, especially with a little 1.8. an accord or camry with automatic tranny feel a tad better than an integra with their 2.2 - 2.4L engines.

 

Integras make power very high in the power band... the auto doesn't really keep you at 5k

yes i have an automatic....if you are planning on modding it, go for the manual.

 

suspension and show is all im looking for... i dont want to spend $200000000000000000 to make a slow car go fast
