With a traditional slushbox you would probably do some damage rather quickly. With an electronically controlled transmission there's a bit more flexibility but generally unless the car has a manual mode, the transmission isn't really meant to be shifted on the fly.

 

get a supercharger or turbo for your auto, once you blow your engine or tranny (whichever comes first), get a B18C motor swap with a manual tranny and move your sc or turbo with it
