I'm goin with a Wings West RS type 2 kit and a custom turbo setup this spring...

Turbo setup will include, these are Canadian prices BTW.

Ractive drilled and slotted brake rotors: $360
B&M Fuel pressure regulator: $140
EBC green brake pads: $100
Sportline springs: $300
Sprint cambers: $360
Rc Injectors 370cc:
Crane cams HI-6 ignition:
Pistons (Jun, JE/SRP, Probe, Wiseco):
Blitz SBC-DC or Apex-i AVC-R boost controller:
Air/fuel gauge:
Exhaust temp guage:

BTW: IS an ECU really necessary, and would a stock clutch hold?

Body kit??? :barf: :barf: Why not add the park bench rear wing too.

Save your money, research/read/learn, then boost. Your engine will thank you.

There is no such thing as a decent turbo that is not way expensive yet not way crappy. I think Greddy is your best bet....but again, I think you have your priorities mixed up. Just spend money on a nice kit for now (since that seems important for your needs) and save up for a GOOD turbo set-up. No point in going half-assed on the engine when you're willing to spend $$$ for a non-functional body-kit.

werd. you know why mugen and c-west body kits cost so much? because they are making up the money spent in the wind tunnel! wings west kist and every other out there for ~$600 dont produce any downforce(if they do, its purely by coincidence).

but in my eyes, function is form. so i think an awesome turbo set up with everything wrapped in ugly heat shielding wrap is just gorgeous.

Hrm, are you going to tune it? If not then I would think you'll need some sort of aftermarket ECU at the very least. Even then you'll be running far from top form. Stock clutch will go bad very soon...

But what worried me was when he said "mediocre turbo". You really can't skimp when it comes to forced induction. Like I recommended earlier, get a kit first then save up for a proper turbo + tuning. After you get used to the look of your "kitted-outz ryde" and want to start whoopin on all those riceboys revvin' at you, you'll want to go faster. h:

Shingoblade-GSR: The only way I see me being able to tune it is with a Gtech unit or something. Cause we have no Dyno in my town.
