I have a question.
Does anyone know what brand and model cd player will fit under the factory radio - tape player and where can I buy it.
Or if anyone can give me an idea how to add a cd player.
( i do not like it in the trunk ) I use that space very often.

Does the fartory stereo have IP bus ( direct wire ) for cd changer???

 

There are factory add-on cd players that will plug right into the rear of the factory tape deck.

Otherwise, you can just get any din-size cde player and replce your tape player. Detailed instrutions can be found at www.installdr.com :thumbup:

 

i dont think single dimms fit. but a single DIN will.

i think some OEM decks does, because you can add a changer as an option. but im not sure.

I have a 96 teg also that came with a factory radio and 6 disk cd player. I changed it because I wanted a removeable face for my radio and a 12 disk changer, but both were in excellent condition when removed. If you are interested my factory cd changer let me know, I give it to you for a real good price. Like I said, it's a six disk changer I don't think it can go under your radio, but it can definately go under your seat. Also, for your info I think Acura used Alpine radios and cd players. Hopefully that may help you if want to go with something brand new. Good luck.
