The car was bought with no intentions of it being anything other than a daily driver, so it was an LS and auto. She doesn't want to swap or convert since it's her daily driver so that's how it is.
What funny looking colors under the hood? Everything is blue and chrome, that's the theme of the car. The only red is on the battery and it's just a little bit. Other than that, the only other red is the fuel distribution block and lines for the NX setup and that's just the way it came.
And the car has won the NOPI Nationals, placed 2nd in the previous year's NOPI, 2nd at the Super Street Tuner Bash in Daytona. And it's won every local show it's ever been entered in. The only time the car didn't place was at HIN, and we're hoping to rectify that next year. So it doesn't have a problem at shows.

They are DVC, I can show you a pic of the backs to prove it, but trust me, they are. Polk sent them, told me they were DVC. I didn't believe them until I got them and they are DVC. Look in say Crutchfield you'll see that there are DVC versions of that sub. There are 2 sets of terminals on the back of each sub. Plus it's listed on their website

Doesn't matter anymore anyways, they've been pulled from the car and 2 Alphasonik PSW612 subs are ready to go in once the car gets out of the shop. The car is fully sponsored by Alphasonik for the '03 show season so all the Polk stuff is gone.

Oh god no, the car barely rolls that low. We just slam it at shows. If you look closely, you'll see that the front bumper is only 1/2" off the ground. For daily driving, the car is set at about a 2" drop.

Well, those rims have been on the car for a long time, well before they were played out. New rims are being worked on, I know Fireballs are played out plus 17"s look small on that car.
The car wasn't originally intended to be a show car, she just wanted a little bit done to it and then somehow the car picked up a bunch of sponsors and nobody is going to turn down free parts

i like it. i respect both go-cars and show-cars(my friend has the latter). i cant tell in the pictres, but i know alot of style points can be earned for a smooth filler job when molding on body kits. but again, props on the car. maybe the next mod can be diablo style doors?
