Do 96-00 civic & 94-01 integra parts interchange?
Yeah I have a quick question about parts from the two cars. Now do the suspension componets from the two cars interchangeable? Such as springs, strut bars, and etc.. I'm giving up my 2001 acura integra LS sedan and jumping into a honda civic LX sedan. Some of yoy may think i'm making a bad decision from degrading to a lower model of a car. I'm actually making the right decision. I'm financing my Acura on a 60 month contract and making payments of $350.00 per month. The reason why i'm doing this is because i'll save more money. I'm going to sell my acura for retail and have my older brothers 98 civic sedan given to me, for free. Its in good condition. I would rather modify a car that does not have a warranty anymore. My acura has only 14k miles on it and the warranty has been voided because I modified it. but please answer my question. Thanks in advance Ha

You can install a fawking Turbo on your car, blow your engine; and take it to Honda.
Honda has to PROVE that your modification CAUSED the failure. If they can't do that, it's not void.
So say you put new springs on your car -- if your caliper failed they couldn't decline a fix for that because the spring did not effect the caliper and cause it to void your warranty. However, if your shock failed - they could blame it on your springs.
You see my point.

And thats when you lay down the law and remind them who the motherfrickin boss is. It was you when you bought it, its you now, and it will continue to be you unless they want a MAJOR problem. Simple as that.
As for the parts...I believe the springs will physically fit, albeit different rates. Springs/Shocks are interchangeable from 92-95's but shocks arent from 96+ as stated.
