suspension components?

suspension components?
ok...right now, i wanna work on my suspension. i got springs and shocks. so now i guess it's all tie bars, sway bars, and strut bar. right now i'm looking at JIC, cusco, tanabe sustec, spoon, and skunk2. what do you guys suggest for any of these components? and also you think it's better to stick w/ one company for everything...cause i figure one company would make the best of everything, but what the hell do i know. haha. what's your take on it all?

Out of all those companies, just get whatever looks the best. The Spoon and Skunk2 bars are almost identical. The Skunk2 is actually lighter since it has aluminum mounting brackets, but who cares. It's only 10g. Just don't get a crappy DC bar with holes punched out of it.

I don't think you should stick with one company. Go with what works and what you can get a good deal on, or a mixture of the two.
I definatly like my SPOON rear tie bar -- even my lame OBX strut tower brace works well --. NExt im going with an ITR rear sway bar because it works well and the price is right (see, the mixture of the two? hehe).
I dunno... I wouldnt be brand-blind, I'd look for good items regardlesss of tehir name and price... and go with that.

All the companies you mentioned are quality; I'm a sucker for name-blang blang but that's only if the price is comparable (eg. no $400 Mugen front strut bars when a JIC one is $200 blah blah blah)
I personally was looking a Comptech front strut/rear tie + sway, but that's only because I can get a good price on the whole "system". Plus I know a lot of STS guys running them.

but jus chillin in so cal right now. goin out, drinkin, heh.. west covina itself aint like alll that, but it's in the middle of everything so it's all good. way better than being out in the boonies of modesto, haha. where are you at right now anyway?

My car is also in CA right now so I haven't driven it for quite some time...
Where is west covina in relation to everything (say..westwood? h: I love that place) Quite a few buddies of mine going to UCLA.
The comptech setup is good but pricey....also it doesn't win many JDM points . You could probably substitute something else for the front strut, but the comptech rear sway/tie is golden (not sure if any other company uses the same "mounting" technique)

Neuspeed tie bars and strut bars are cheaper than others but are just as good. It's cheapest to go with an 22mm OEM ITR sway bar on the rear and a 24mm GSR bar on the front. For the rear you'll need a reinforcement kit like the Beaks or BSQ kit. Actually you can get by without replacing the 22mm front sway bar (I'm assuming you have a G3 LS, GS, or RS) Apart from that you can get your rubber bushings replaced (time consuming and costly) with polyurethane.
