Default Looking for muffler sounds

A request from all if possible. I'm looking to install a new muffler. However, there are certain muffler sounds that I don't like. I preferr the low rumble sound.

If possible, anyone know a site that has these muffler sounds to check out? If not, those who has after market muffler, maybe you can record your sound along w/ the brand of your muffler. This way I can compile a website w/ muffer and its associated sound.

TIA!

Best way is to go for a ride in a teg with the muffler you're interested in. Are you looking at a full catback or just muffler? Muffler alone won't matter as much as muffler w/2.5" custom piping...

If you do a search there have been numerous threads about various exhausts and how they sound.

Not sure yet...looking for full catback...right now I'm just interested in what the muffler sounds like..the if I have to do a full catback, I'll go that route.

Will search for muffler sounds.

Thanks.

i thought you already sold that bish....how much?

as far as the topic starter....u can get a low grumble sound from almost any aftermarket muffler, as long as it has the proper piping diameter and resonators to provide you the correct sound harmonics. its also dependent on the current state of tune your car is in, as certain modifications greatly alter the sound output. if your car is bone stock, its likely that just an intake will drain out the sound of a decent exhaust, unless its un-resonated or un-silenced.

It will make your car noticeably louder at higher rpm
