Dude thanks on all the info, appreciate it a lot....

Yea the curb issue has been addressed by my mother earlier today as we were talking about it lol

I really would love to own A RHD Honda ITR but you guys all pointed out good things on why I shouldn't get one.

How bout this, for the $16K I get I do a RHD Conversion myself?

My Cousin and Uncle roughly have 30 years of experience when it comes to Honda's and building cars...

What do you guys think?

No. Dont do it.

There are still other options out there. We're all guilty of being honda fan boys at one point or another, which is fine as long as you've played with the other car marques out there. Shoot, even within the Acura/Honda camp there are other options.

I thought I was Mid90sHondaBoi4LyfeMaDtYteJdMYo until i drove a few other cars, namely wrx/evo/sti/accord/rsx/240sx. Each car has its own level of charm. I speak from experience, if I had 16G to blow on a car...lets just say I wouldnt do it on a DC2. I pretty much did it with my first integra, and I look back doing this -

Fuck me in the goat ass!!! Your car is trashed!!! What happened to the girl? Did she make it? What was she driving? What did you get back on insurance? Please tell me there was some insurance here...

Damn bro, that is about as bad as I have seen an Integra get smashed.

Anyways, I agree against a JDM RHD Type R. Get a USDM Type R. There is essentially no difference except one comes with hassle and the other does not.

Glad you made it to tell your story man, but once again, FUCK!!! I can't get over that damage.

I'll think about it for a while. Still 2 months away from my birthday, I just once in my life would like to own a RHD car.

It would be used mainly as a weekend car, I own a 1995 Civic as a daily driver....

Besides man, What about the JDM chicks? They loves the RHD :boink:

Thanks man,

Trust me dude I wanted to kill the girl, all that happened to her was a small dent on her right side door and her rear bumper came off....

Everyone does say I should have died in that crash, But here I am.....

Is there a God? I'm sure as hell that there is!

Me on the other hand,

Dislocated Shoulder
Broken Ankle
6 Broken Ribs
Fractured Skull,

4 Months in the hospital and about 8 months total on crouches

All I got was $6,000 from the insurance, but with all the $$$ I put into I lost $9,000....

Yea A USDM ITR sounds like a good Idea, but I'm still thinking of doing a RHD Conversion, So much thinking is making my head hurt :faint:

Please tell me you hired an attorney. Your due compensation buddy. Pain and suffering, lost wages, medical bills, potential permanent disability. Even if the insurance policy has a cap, it may be part of an umbrella that could offer additional compensation. On top of that, the driver who hit you was 17 years old at the time of the accident. Her parents/legal guardians who are most likely the main policy holders can have their assets gone after as well.

This may be shit you already know or have been told, and probably have counsel, however I just wanted to throw that out there because it is something I deal with in my occupation and I wanted to give you that from the stand point of experience.

Appreciate it a lot bro,

I got $5,666 for lost wages on top of the insurance for the car. At the time my mom didn't want to chase after her parents. They actually came to my house the following month to see how I was doing, and still do from time to time, she herself isn't a bad kid at all and doesn't even drink no more. I'm not the kind to chase after someone for 3-4K extra, which is what my attorney said he could have gotten me.......

The world has enough greedy people, I wasn't gonna be one of them

The world meets nobody half way. You have to do what is best for yourself. If you feel you made the right choice then I support that. Your list of injuries alone just indicated some pain and suffering was definitely due. But hey, if you bounced back and are good to go then that is the silver lining. You cannot place a price on health.

So is the 17 y/o a good looking girl? Any chance of you two going on a date or something out of this whole ordeal?

Thanks,

And yea I still take meds and almost 100%...

hahah she actually is pretty cute and reminds me a lot of Mila Kunis,

Sadly I'm out of the dating game for a while (No I'm Not gay lol) and more focused on School and getting a CAREER, a Asian girl named Lian is to blame.... She broke my lil heart

Nonetheless HONDA saved me from losing my mind, I'm just glad that I can still do what I love and thank god I'm Alive!
