1996 Integra Power Window Question
Hi all,
I need help. i have a 1996 Integra 4 door. My front/right and rear/left windows are having problems rolling up and down. At first, I thought it was the motor, but it does roll down/up periodically. Then I thought it was the main power window switch, but it doesn work with the individual window switches either. they are able to roll down sometimes, but not up. which leaves me stuck. this is a real pain...so please help.
The front/left and rear/right work fine; always able to roll up and down.
any ideas?
thanks!

I had a similar problem. My windows would would go down but they were struggling and my car is a 2001. I took it to the dealership and they said my tracks were dirty so they greased them with somthing (prolly silicone) but they work like new again. Also your tracks could be off to. Have you had your window tinted recently because they tend to get off track if the tinter does a poor job.

Yes, i want to think it is the motor...but that wouldnt that be a weird coincidence that both windows (f/r and r/l) go out?
however, i will try siliconing it too. any chance it is the ground wire?

On my 96 2dr gsr my right passenger seat window will sometimes be screwwed up. But it only seems like it does it when its been wet outside or really humid. I'll hold down the window down button but the window goes down incredibly slow. Almost to a stop but it is still moving untill it gets to a certain point and it seems like the motor just kicks in and the window goes down normal all the way. I don't know whats up with it but it only does it on certain days so I've learned to live with it. Anyone have any ideas on why it does this?
