Default exhaust/cold intake

hey, I have a 93 acura hatchback automatic i am really looking into purchasing an AEM cold air intake for better performance, hence i have heard nothing but good things about it. I also am hearing an odd sound coming from my stock exhaust system (very possible there is a hole in it), and am eagerly wanting to replace it with a GREDDY MX CAT. BACK EXHAUST. advise me if i'm wrong or any better advice on any thing... i would like ne body to reply if you are looking for a good site, i found a well priced performance parts page... www.adventon.com later

Are you absolutely set on modifying your automatic?

You have the right choice on intake though.

Get the AEM. My friend has one and loves it.
I'm still partial to my short ram but you will definatly see more gains (if any) with your CAI, unlike my Short Ram which probably diminishes my cars performance.

Ohwell..

Actually the short-ram gives you better throttle response, and if you're going to supercharge (or go F/I) dont bother with a CAI period. With an automatic you probably won't "feel" much of a difference in power, but you'll definitely hear it hehe.

Honda-Tech is cool for a few reasons.

They seem to answer more heavily technical based questions quicker, the more difficult ones; but that's just becuase when honda-acura went down we had to go somewhere, so we went there.

But for your every-day post, it just gets ran over.
Plus, it's so ugly! hahahahha

honda-acura for life!

Honda-tech has a lot more tech guys there (Most of HAN's old members ended up there after the big krash) and it moves faster (10 times as many members). So it's a good place to get tech info. They tend to be pretty unforgiving though.
