Cold winter warming?

Sure, if you have low oil pressure sometime go run around and redline your car.
Not only will you not hit vtec, you'll get to hear a nifty clacking from then on! then you can say you have aftermarket cams!

It should be able to redline when its stone cold. The ECM should read that there isn't enough oil pressure, and rev-limit. Not sure about the tegs, but in my Prelude, it limits at like 5k rpms.

One more question... when you are accelerating slowly to redline anytime, say in first gear, if you just do it SLOWLY, do you feel it lag when VTEC kicks in. I feel a slight lag, but normally, like under full throttle, VTEC will make my car fly. Just wanted to know if the lag was normal.

****, just go get a block heater. My uncle has one on his car cause he lived in South Dakota, that heats up quick. Do a little research, they are only like $50.

I want remote start.
But I need a new alarm before I do that -- and before that I need a new driver side door long -- and even if I did all that and got remote start I'd be afraid I'd leave it in gear one day.
Plus sometimes I dont like to park with my ebrake on (after hard drives).
So, bleh. But, remote start would fix your problem.
