Depends on what you use your car for. As a daily driver, probably only need to bleed the brakes every 2 years, if you track the car, perhaps before and after every track event.

after college life? what life, its work->sleep->eat (repeat). Its too bad computer industry is still in a slump *DOH*, but its helping me pay for car mods

as for bleeding the brakes.... just do it whenever you feel the brakes are getting mushy...prolly after you change the pads.
