how is the gs-r and ls crankshaft different? and if i change my crankshaft will it also change the r/s ratio? thanks

GSR has a shorter stroke. Yes, R/S will change.

with a shorter r/s will that make a difference in overall power... im not really sure how r/s affects our cars

You will have a higher rod to stroke if you switch to the LS crank, and vice versa.

Lower rod to stroke ratios don't rev as well but their power comes at a lower RPM. Overall power will stay the same.
