Default PICS... Not 56gay friendly.

Here are two pics of my car after I got the swap done.
I also had just got done changing the passenger-side axle in less than an hour (I was proud lol)

Anyhoo, here's one with the door open (and the hood popped, oops ;-)

... And now... The one you've all been waiting for...
(THA MONEY SHOT) ;-)

You're right. VTEC wasn't in there before ;-)

Btw, that's all done by me. No work on that car was ever done by anyone else. I'm proud of that too ;-)

Was the front bumper done by you too?
hahaa ok that was a d!ck comment.

Nice car man. I'm not a G2 guy but your car looks good, and I can't see the engine - but congrats on doing all the work yourself.
Have fun.

Maybe I missed something, but what engine did you swap in?

Thanks guys ;-)

The car was orange when I bought it... But I don't consider paint to be "work" I'm not all about looks. I mean... I would like to have a nice-looking car... but if it's fast... I can give up the looks ;-)

What kind of power is it putting down? How reliable is it?

I have no Idea about power numbers/etc. but here's the lowdown so u can take a stab at it...

12:1 compression JE pistons, Eagle rods,
ITR valvesprings/retainers,
CM stage 3 clutch,
Old Long-geared YS1 tranny (sux0rz)
Intake/Header/Exhaust.

As far as reliability, it's been running great... it has a vtec solenoid leak that should be fixed on monday because the Honda place only gets parts weekly.

Also on cold starts the JE's are going nuts under there and u can hear them clattering around big time but once it warms up... purrs like a kitten.

Other than that... it runs great... And quiet too.

How are those JE pistons working for you? I'm a little leary of aftermarket pistons after hearing a few horror stories.
