Default weird noise coming from my motor and I just got my valves adjusted!

I left work the other day and everything was fine. After 20 mins of me being home I had to go back out. I went to start my car and I heard a clacking type of noise coming from my motor. I poped the hood and it was coming directly from my valve cover. Any help would be appreciated.

They might have not correctly torqued the bolts, or maybe they just botched the adjustment. Do you have an LS or GSR? GSRs are notorious for having loud injector tick, sounds like valves.

I have an ls, and can you tell me what botched means? I took my car to this place called matta motors. The only work on honda/acura vehicles and they been in business for like 27 years or something.
