im almost positive you will find its the battery or something draining the battery.

free testing and replacement ... a shop usually charges for all that. although many will waive the testing fee if you buy the battery from them

A third solution (besides 1. take it to get checked, and 2. just buy a new battery) is to measure the DC voltage yourself, if you have a voltmeter handy.
More info here, for example. Measure voltage after the battery has been sitting around overnight or so; 12.4V or below points to battery not holding a charge.
Also measure voltage while car is running; it should read about 13.5V, which would indicate the alternator is putting out enough juice, which recharges the battery while you are driving around.
Good luck!

I think you batt. terminals are just loose. From personal experience, they have to be on there pretty tight. Clean them up well, put anti-oxidation lube on them and make sure they're really tight, you should not be able to wiggle the wires at the post.

i had the same problem. turned out the brushes in the alt were worn out. it only tripped the battery light at a slow idle.. simple way to check the alt is to pull the negative terminal off the battery and see if it runs better or worse, or not at all.
