Default Tranny Whine?

I've noticed that i'm getting a faint tranny whine at around 50 km/h (35 mph). Its loud enough to be noticeable, but its easily drowned out by music under half volume. It doesn't really get much louder as I go faster and i don't hear it when I get off the gas. Do any of you guys have this? Or should I start saving for an ITR tranny?

Try changing the tranny fluid and make sure you use honda MT fluid.

Ok, I took it to the mechanic last week who found absolutely nothing. Threw it on the lift, took the wheels off, checked the joints, etc. NOTHING. ....... Then, as I was driving with my window open today, I rolled over a new section of ashphalt and it the noise got much louder .... then when I rolled off it back onto concrete, it went away

It's my winter tires god i'm a moron (now that i think about it, it all of a sudden came after I changed 'em.
