Default 96 Acura LS 190 HP

I want to make an Acura Integra LS, naturally aspirated for autcross/ripping up and down the autobahn flipping off eurotrash in their golfs and 206's (I live in Germany). I was thinking that Exhaust/intake , header, 62mm throttlebody, new intake manifold, underdrive pulley kit, and have it performance tuned. What do you think i'm looking at for performance gains? It's an american car so i'm going on a hunch that it has an electronic governor, that has to go. I've heard of some guys Taking the GSR head and putting it on LS's...is that true? For Suspension there's a 600 dollar suspension package I saw on summit. Send me some ideas.

those bolt on's you just named wont do jack shit for power. you'd be lucky to make 150whp with things like that. to make power and keeping things all motor, you have to get into cams, increased compression, bigger displacement always helps, then tuning.

putting a vtec head on there is called an lsvtec, do a search on it. lots of info available.

And there in no electronic governor. The car runs out of power before you hit the red line in 5th.

well i got the paperwork rolling for the teg....

First mod will be exhaust...

I can do a full no cat exhuast on the the teg here becuase of no emissions testing, well at least for me living on a US military installation and being part of the military . As long as it's not ridiculusly loud, I should be okay. I used to have a 90' stang and the 02 sensor was rigged at the first set of cats so if it was removed you had a check engine light going on. If I remove the manifold/cat will i have to get some type of o2 sensor adaptor or what? I've never modded hondas before. All i want to know is if i can run header back w/ a muffler with no problems.

You will get a CEL if you don't have a cat because the secondary o2 sensor is reading dirty air. There are o2 sensor simulators out there that help this issue, but I don't know how reliable those are.

its not reading dirty air at all. the secondary o2 sensor is there to make sure there is a variance between itself, and the primary 02 sensor.

if it sees no variance (a la test pipe, gutted cat, failed catalyst etc) then it activates the CEL.

a simulator (in most cases) places the secondary sensor out of the direct flow of the exhaust maintaining that variance in readings between the two sensors
