Default integra rims sizes

i have a '01 ITR, currently i have a set of rims 17x7 +47. I'm buying a new set and was wondering if 17x7.5 would be to wide? And what offset would you recomend? I have a set of 215/40/17 tires that would go on the new rims if that would matter.

My buddy had 17x8 on his GSR before he totalled it and they would rub only when we took corners really hard. He was also dropped about 2.5" too.

17X7.5 is just fine. Fits nicely under the quarters, but will probably rub a little at full lock. I'm running 18 X 7.5 and I love them........no problems at all, except for a lil rub at full lock.

The best tire size to use (because the outer diameter matches the stock size) is 205/40-17, not 215/40-17.

You can use 17x7, 17x7.5, or 17x8 for 205/40-17 (as well as the oversized 215/40). If you have the choice, I would get the 17x7.5, since it's right in the middle and shouldn't make the tires look too bulging or too stretched.

I'd say you downsize to some 16x7s

Magically and preferably i'm taking the side of having 17s on a teggy. I have a set of 17x7.5's and running 215/40/17's theres no tire rub currently...but i did have a little tire rub with the bfgoodrich kw's...since i have parada spec-II's now i have no problems. It looks hot as hell and when you lower her it fills in the gaps just right!
