Welcome.
Personally, I wouldn't purchase someone else's project but in this case, it could be an exception. All the parts look to be very high quality and no corners look to be cut.
Have you driven the car yet? With a turbo that large, I imagine the lag would be pretty noticable. Any idea on what kind of power it is making and at how much boost?

No not yet, I am driving it tomorrow. I am a little concerned that the block is not built, but at only 10 psi and proper AEM tuning I should be ok. 880cc injectors..there goes the 4cyl fuel economy lol.

I thought it was actually making some decent power instead of being oversized for the application. The insane amount of lag that setup should have would turn me off completely.

What do you think it is worth? White w/ black leather 60k miles. I don't mind doing somework like building a block and then swapping it in or buying a smaller turbo and retuning if the lag is too much (until the block is built ). What I don't want to be is upside down in the car too much when the time comes to sell it.

He doesn't have one. I am getting the car in trade on one of my cars that he wanted. It is white withe black leather full factory body kit that I guess was a $4k option new when ordered? It has only 59k on it and comes with a spare block that has been sleaved. It looks like they are going for anywhere from $8k to 13k on the trader and there is a lot of money invested which you never fully get back. All of the GSR's that are comprable to year and condition and mods I have seen seem to be going for $13-17k. Is that way far off or close to realistic?
