Default Gas question

Hey guys i wanted to know if their is any benefit in running Regular Plus Grade 88-89 On my 97 Integra? One of my friends said it would make a good difference and would help the car along great as long as i don't go over these grades. Is this true or is just full of sh!T? Thanks

Completely full of shit.
The B18B1 is designed to run on 87 octane.
You're just pissing away money on 89 or 91.

Use a fraction of that money to purchase a bottle of fuel injector cleaner once a year.

It's true that high octane pump gas has a slightly higher concentration of cleaning agents. But having tried both methods, I'm convinced that you're better off buying a bottle of quality fuel injector cleaner once a year.

It's not a matter of cost so much as effectiveness.
For the same $3 spent on a tank of premium gas, you can buy a more effective product.
