Default Clutch noise v.throwoutbearing?

I've read a few threads and it seems like my throwout bearing is done but just want to make sure before I pick one up. I hear a very slight "squeaky" noise that goes away immediately after literally touching the clutch pedal (1-2 inches pressed). It's even lower pitched or not noticeable at all when the car's warmed up.

Should I go ahead and replace it or could it be something else?

Clutch is good, grabs fine, doesn't slip at any rpm.

thanx

That would be the throwout bearing.

Mine has been doing that for over a year. You can just leave it how it is and just replace it when it comes time to replace the clutch.

Mine does the same thing. It's the Bearing, I wouldn't sweat it.

Mine was doing it too. Just for the record. I corrected it at clutch change time.

Mine did this and I had the dealership put in a new clutch kit and it didn't fix the problem. Turns out it was a few bearings in the transmission.
