I know I'm going with Hawk HPS pads for the GSR, I'm just wondering if going with slotted rotors makes that much of a difference; I've never tried them. I also found that www.importrp.com has the lowest prices, not counting ebay.$355 shipped for the brake package w/ PowerSlot rotors.

Either PowerSlot or Brembo slotted rotors, how do they compare to Brembo blanks?

I wouldn't recommend slotted rotors unless the car is frequently tracked. You will go through pads faster than with a blank rotor. Blanks are all you need on a street driven car.

Bump as its time for me to do brakes too. Looks like Hawk is the winner here, can someone recommend me an online retailer, and also should i look at getting new rotors / getting them machined or can I just slap on the new pads and drive off?

Right now i am running HPS's. I used to have the axxis b4 and they eat the hell out of my rotors. The dust is moderate, but it wasn't all that bad.
