Transmission fluid
Napa told me I can use 5w-30, in a 94 GSR (MT). Insite please? Advanced doesn't know either, and I looked in the FAQ and it said only to use the Honda fluid, but then had the 5w-30 under it. I'm wondering if anybody has used it and if anybody trustworthy knows 100%

100% just use honda MTF. 2.2 quarts through the speed sensor hole worked best for me.
i used redline and gm synchromesh and nothing performed better than the OEM MTF.

some people can get away with running straight motor oil in their trans, but the motor oil lacks the detergents and other additives that allow MTF to last well over 25k miles unfiltered and unattended.
regular motor oil can be used, but the manuals say only if its utterly neccesary or whatever it is.
